Day in the life

A day in supported living

Many participants share a home that Snake River rents, living with roommates and supported by our staff in the home. If you don't have a place to live yet, we can look for an opening where you'd be a good fit.

A day in the life

What supported living looks like

A participant cooking breakfast with a support staff member

Morning

Starting the day at home

Roommates wake up in their shared home and make breakfast, with staff coaching cooking, hygiene and getting ready for the day.

A participant checking a shopping list at the grocery store with staff

Midday

Errands & life skills

Grocery shopping, budgeting, banking and appointments — real-world practice that builds independence for adults with disabilities.

Participants and staff bowling and laughing together

Afternoon

Out in the community

Bowling, parks, clubs, work or volunteering around Idaho Falls — building friendships and meaningful connection.

Roommates playing a board game with a staff member in their living room

Evening

Home with roommates

Cooking dinner, chores and game night. Staff are in the home day and night, so support is there whenever it's needed.
