About us

Cultivating a community where everyone can grow

A Residential Habilitation agency based in Idaho Falls, built on a radical commitment to individual autonomy, self-determination and the dignity of risk.
“To redefine supported living by replacing restrictive rules with real-world learning and unwavering support. We invest deeply in the freedom of our participants and the professional evolution of our staff, preparing everyone we touch for a brighter future.”
Our mission

Our story & philosophy

Snake River Community Supported Living is a Residential Habilitation (Res Hab) agency dedicated to supporting adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

While traditional care models often rely on rigid restrictions, our philosophy is anchored in the power of “Yes.” Every individual has the right to direct their own life, explore their desires, and learn through real-world experience. Rather than arbitrary rules or default refusals, our team does the heavy lifting required to make participants' goals a reality.

We use natural consequences as our primary teaching tool, allowing participants to safely navigate the triumphs and lessons of everyday life. If there is a safe, viable way to make something happen, we find it — regardless of the extra effort it requires.

Investing in our team

Equally central to our identity is our investment in our workforce. We view our staff not just as employees, but as future leaders, and foster a culture of continuous learning, empathy and professional maturity.

Our goal is to serve as a professional launchpad — equipping staff with advocacy, problem-solving and leadership skills to excel in their future ambitions.

Our Program Director, Shani Dupree, leads our Idaho Falls team.
